For individuals (RMTs, PTs, garment fitters and physicians) providing care and services for those with lymphatic diseases.

All MLD/CDT therapists applying for a professional membership must have been trained by a Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) approved school for treating Lymphedema with a minimum of 135 hours of lymphatic training through the school including the following:  Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), Combined or Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).   Components include: Manual lymph drainage, compression bandaging/garments, exercise, diet/nutrition and skin care. 

All garment fitters must have a certification from a garment vendor to provide fittings for lymphedema or lipedema patients.

All advertising/promotion opportunities are listed under the individual's name, not their business name or the company they work for.

• Receives 2 copies of PATHWAYS magazine, quarterly.
• Business listing in BCLA Professional Directory & on the BCLA website. ( printed each September) (Please be sure to include the address you wish to have these mailed to on the membership profile)
• Business Location will be shown on BCLA Google Map.
• Upon request, additional resources such as “Living with Lymphedema” booklets, additional directories, pamphlets and BCLA business cards may be mailed out.
• Receive monthly newsletter from BCLA.
• Be the first to be informed of new treatment options, research results and special events.
• Discounted BCLA-sponsored events.
• Have opportunities to promote your business or practice through educational presentations and webinars with social media exposure.
