The Canadian Lymphedema Framework warmly invites you to the 2019 National Lymphedema Conference, to be held on November 1-2, 2019. Our venue is the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel, conveniently located near Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario. Join us as we celebrate the 10th year of the Canadian Lymphedema Framework. 

This year, we have extended patient registration opportunities to Friday afternoon, as well as Saturday all day. Pricing options are available for a half day (Friday afternoon), 1 day (Saturday) or 1.5 days (Friday afternoon and Saturday). 
What to Expect
Friday: November 1 MORNING
Health Professionals Only
Pre-conference symposiums: Industry sponsors will be hosting pre-conference symposiums and workshops in the morning for health professionals only.
Lunch is on your own with options in the hotel restaurant or several other restaurants nearby. 

Friday: November 1 AFTERNOON
Health Professionals and Patients
The official conference starts at 1:00pm and features plenary sessions, a selection of concurrent sessions geared to health professionals or patients, followed by an early evening networking reception. The Exhibit Hall will be open for the afternoon and evening reception. 
Saturday: November 2 ALL DAY
Health Professionals and Patients

The conference continues all day Saturday. All delegates will have access to plenary sessions, a selection of breakout sessions geared to either health professionals or patients, an extensive Exhibit Hall, lunchtime inspirational speakers and our popular “Ask the Expert” session at the end of the day.
Keynote Speakers 
The Scientific and Organizing Committees are pleased to welcome Dr. Machteld Huber from the Netherlands, to speak on Positive Health: The New Definition of HealthDr. Pierre von de Weid from Calgary, to speak on Scientific Developments in Lymphedema Research;  Dr. Anna Towers of Montreal, to speak about Palliative Care and Lymphedema;  Susan Harris, PhD from British Columbia, speaking about Challenging Myths of Exercise-induced Lymphedema as well as Jean LaMantia, a dietitian from Toronto, speaking about Nutrition and Lymphedema. Information about many more invited speakers can be seen on our conference website and program. 

Plus don’t miss the much-anticipated panel on Surgical Solutions for Lymphedemaled by Canadian surgeons: Dr. John Semple (Surgeon-in-Chief at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto), Dr. Sibal Haykal (Surgeon at UHN) and Amy Beaith (a patient’s perspective on Quality of Life After Surgery)  
Special Lunch Session
A special roundtable luncheon will be held for Hospital-Based Clinicians working with lymphedema patients. Please note your interest in attending this lunchtime session on your registration form and the organizers will make contact to confirm if your attendance is confirmed.
